EWBI Holds Workshop on Authentic Assessment and Its Electronic Applications

Educators Without Borders International (EWBI) held a workshop on authentic assessment and its electronic applications, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in cooperation with Emirates College for Advanced Education.

The workshop focused on the nature and definition of authentic assessment, and its four strategies: performance, observation, communication, and self-review.
 

The workshop also highlighted the objectives of authentic assessment, which include cognitive objectives: synthesis, analysis, application, understanding, comprehension, and remembering; skill objectives: adaptation, compatibility, accuracy, imitation, and simulation; and emotional objectives: representation, organization, evaluation, response.
