EWBI signs MoU with Al Ain University

"Educators Without Borders International" signed a memorandum of understanding with "Al Ain University" on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Al Ain Campus, in the UAE. This comes within the framework of EWBI's efforts to develop partnerships with community, voluntary and humanitarian institutions in the field of education, and to provide qualified cadres to the programs that cover the areas most in need.

The memorandum aims to attract several lecturers and experts working at the university to participate in the events and activities implemented by EWBI as volunteer trainers by providing training programs for teachers, administrators, students and parents in less fortunate areas.


The memorandum also aims to train teachers, provide an opportunity for educational and administrative staff and students to participate in various events and activities, support and facilitate conducting research and studies, and benefit from capabilities and exchange experiences. It also aims to provide lessons, lectures and educational workshops that contribute to the development of education in the targeted areas, and full support in the field of research and publishing and promoting the values of volunteer work among students and professors.

Al Ain University is one of the most prominent university institutions in the UAE and has a prestigious scientific status since its establishment in 2004, and several national cadres graduated from it who today occupy leadership positions in various public and private institutions.

The agreement was signed by the Secretary-General of EWBI, Omar Al-Buraiki, and the President of Al Ain University, Dr.Ghaleb El Refae.

It is worth mentioning Educators Without Borders International is an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It seeks to provide training, rehabilitation and awareness services for students, teachers and administrators to improve the quality of education and enhance access to education for the less fortunate in areas that live in difficult conditions due to poverty, wars and natural disasters. EWBI also has partnerships with several international humanitarian and charitable organizations and bodies working in areas of conflicts, wars, disasters, and communities less fortunate in education.
