"Adaptation: An Administrative Challenge & Spark of Hope for Shaping the Future", is a three-week workshop held by Educators without Borders (EWB), and presented by Professor Rana Nazzal, an expert in training educators, in which she discussed the importance for individuals of adapting to unexpected disturbances in their surrounding society and environment.
The first session of the workshop was held, on Friday July 10th 2020, in which the participants discussed important topics related to the most common theories and methods of adaptation for individuals and itsimpact on societies.
More than 40 school principals had participated from several countries, in which they exchanged their experiences and opinions about adaptation, especially after Covid-19 pandemic, and to what extent it might have an impact on individuals and societies.
The workshop also focused on how Covid-19 pandemic had forced people to adapt to their new lives within its existence, and how they will be able to resume their work and educate their children and provide a good life for them in the light of this crisis.
Professors from different countries participated in the discussion, expressing and exchanging their opinions in this wide-ranging dialogue session, as well as mentioning the efforts of teachers and school principals to become a role model for their students.
Dr. Rana Nazzal also mentioned how people would accept unstable circumstances around them; throughevaluating it and then responding to its results, and they might have to take decisions despite uncertainty and the absence of accurate scientific information, she added that there is more than one factor affects the decision-making process, including genetics, thinking methodology, and the neural network within the human brain.
It is worth mentioning that Educators without Borders is an international organization based in Geneva, concerned with providing educational services for children in affected regions, and improving training services in crisis areas.
