Educators without Borders signed a memorandum of understanding with Colombia’s Fundación AbbaCol on cooperating and exchanging expertise in the academic, scientific, research, and information and communication technology fields, as well as volunteering and training activities.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Dr. Mohamed Albaili, Chairman of Educators without Borders, and Mr. Farid Lozada, CEO of Fundación AbbaCol.
The MoU aims to bolster bilateral relations and collaboration in the educational fields to facilitate exchanging experiences, volunteers, and researchers, along with holding joint training programs and research projects.
The agreement focuses on achieving integration objectives and exchanging academic and cultural visits, in addition to developing and sharing educational resources to support students and teachers. The two parties also agreed to co-organizing scientific activities such as conferences, seminars, and lectures.
It is worth mentioning that Educators without Borders is an international organization based in Geneva, concerned with providing educational services for children in affected regions and improving training services in crisis areas.
Established in 2005, Fundación AbbaCol aims to support vulnerable children in Colombia by developing community projects focused mainly on education, culture, and social inclusion.
