Educators without Borders held a virtual workshop on strategies and theories of teaching thinking skills, on Monday, June 21, 2021.
The workshop focused on developing the participants' skills in implementing the CoRt program as an independent subject in developing creative thinking.
The workshop discussed the objectives of the CoRT program, which focuses on developing the students’ scientific thinking skills and ways of designing the program to achieve the desired objectives as well as its characteristics and advantages.
It explained how to integrate the CoRT program into the curriculum, and the need to prepare specialized teachers to teach thinking skills.
The workshop also shed light on the obstacles that face teaching thinking skills in schools and how they can be overcome.
