EwB Holds Workshop on Active Learning

Educators without Borders held a virtual workshop on active learning strategies, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

The workshop discussed the definition of active learning and the difference between traditional and active learning methods.

The workshop presented some studies that discussed active learning methods, and the impact of active learning on student motivation and thus increasing academic achievement levels.

It also highlighted the advantages and principles of active learning, how to create an active learning environment, and active learning techniques.

The workshop explained the challenges facing active learning and the solutions that teachers can use to overcome those challenges.
