Educators Without Borders discusses the role of drama in education

Educators Without Borders held, on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, a workshop titled “ Drama in Education”. The workshop discussed what is drama in education, ways of using it in the educational context, its role as a tool to explore subjects across the curriculum, and how to develop key skills such as creativity, expression and confidence. 

The workshop explained how educational drama can be utilized as a creative tool to enhance the teaching environment inside the classroom and moving from traditional classroom instruction to an active and interactive technique.

The workshop also featured interactive activities where the trainees had an opportunity to learn how to use educational drama to provide an integrated, long-term educational experience that helps teachers and students develop understanding, analysis, focus, and problem-solving abilities.
