Dr. Mohamed Albaili, Chairman of Educators without Borders, participated in the 7th International Conference on Humanities and Law "Perspectives on COVID-19: Challenges, Solutions, and Opportunities", organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Law, Bedër University in Albania on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

The virtual conference discussed the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. As cases increase around the globe, gatherings of all kinds are being canceled or postponed. They include conferences, book fairs, and numerous scientific meetings, which are normally a fertile ground for new ideas and collaborations.

The conference emphasized the importance of law, communication through media outlets, social media, and education in fighting the pandemic and adapting to any similar situations in the future.

The conference concluded that focusing on digital transformation, human rights, and mental health will contribute to the improvement of the health, environmental, economic, social situation by raising awareness about the role of the justice and law system, and education.

It is worth mentioning that Educators without Borders signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Albanian Bedër University last March on cooperation and exchanging experience in the academic, research and scientific, and ICT fields, as well as volunteer and training activities.
